Teach you how to distinguish several kinds of fiber by burning method

Depending on the chemical composition of the fibers, the combustion characteristics are also different. KXT collated some control data for the identification of combustion characteristics of several common fibers:
(1) Cotton, hemp, viscose, copper ammonia fiber: close to the flame: do not shrink and do not melt; Contact flame: rapidly burning; To continue burning; Smell: the smell of burning paper; Residue characteristics: A small amount of grey black or grey ash.
(2) Silk and wool fibers: close to the flame: curled and melted; Contact flame: curling, melting, burning; A slow burn that sometimes extinguishes itself; Odor: the smell of burning hair; Residue characteristics: loose and brittle black particles or coke.
(3) Polyester fiber: close to the flame: melting shrinkage; Contact flame: melting, smoking, slow burning; To continue burning, sometimes self-extinguishing; Odor: Special aromatic sweet; Residue signature: Hard black beads.
(4) Nylon fiber: close to the flame: melting; Contact flame: melt, smoke; Leaving the flame: self-extinguishing; Odor: amino flavor; Residue characteristics: hard light brown transparent round beads.
(5) Acrylic fiber: close to the flame: melting shrinkage; Contact flame: melt, smoke; Leave the flame: continue to burn, emitting black smoke; Smell: spicy; Residue characteristics: black irregular beads, fragile.
(6) Polypropylene fiber: close to the flame: melting; Contact flame: melting, burning; To continue burning; Smell: paraffin; Residue characteristics: gray white hard transparent round beads.
(7) Spandex fiber: close to the flame: melting shrinkage; Contact flame: melting, burning; Leaving the flame: self-extinguishing; Smell: special odor; Residue characteristics: white gelatinous.
(8) PVC fiber: close to the flame: melting shrinkage; Contact flame: melting, burning, black smoke; Leave the flame: self-extinguishing; Odor: pungent odor; Residue characteristics: dark brown lump.
(9) Vinylon fiber: close to the flame: melting; Contact flame: melting, burning; Leave the flame: continue to burn, emitting black smoke; Smell: characteristic aroma; Residue characteristics: irregular burnt brown hard lump.
